Here are some replies that we got from contacting companies about how their contracts work:
We do all our work in house and mainly by permanent in house staff. We occasionally use freelance programmers, illustrators and producers when we need them. We’ll contract specific illustrator’s quite often if we’re after a specific look.
We don’t really use different contracts for this sort of thing. However I will get a standard contract over to you tomorrow. Hope that’s okay. What especially are you interested in? What school are you at and which year? I’d be happy to meet up with you to talk through what we do and why we do it. Anyway, I’ll be back in touch tomorrow.
I have learnt that freelance workers are called in from time to time with in-house staff. But for different companies it varies.
